Hello!
I am Jenny Crouch Clark, LCSW-Supervisor, and I am a psychotherapist in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I graduated from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign with a Masters of Social Work degree with a concentration in community mental health. In my 15+ years as a social worker, I have worked within public and private schools, non-profits, hospitals, refugee resettlement, managed care, child advocacy, and early childhood intervention (including ASD). I have had my private practice since 2008.
Clients: In my practice I see individuals, couples, and families at my Arlington, TX office and am also available for home and school/daycare visits as well. Although I see a wide variety of clients, I hold specilities in trauma focused work and also with families/couples of young children (under 5 years old).
Therapuetic Strategies: I was initially trained in Cognitive Beavioral Therapy (CBT), behavior modification, and family systems, but have a special interest in more integrative appraoches in my current work. I beleive that each client is a unique person and I center therapuetic choices around needs, preferences, and styles of those I see, so therapy sessions often look very different from person to person, even if being seen for similar reasons. To accomplish this client centered approach, your input is vaulable, and we will work together to find what fits you best. In addition to CBT, I also offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, child directed play therapy, TF-CBT, mindfulness, and EMDR.
Extras: I hold an endoresment in Infant Mental Health (level III) from the First3Years. I am an EMDR trained clinician as well. Additionally, I provide TSWBE approved superivsion to new therapists working thowards their clinical license.
Office Hours: I offer a variety of office hours including a weekday evening and weekends. Please contact me for current availability.
